The\u00a0METRONOME<\/a> project<\/strong>, together with\u00a0Break Even Consulting<\/strong>, recently brought citizens, municipal representatives and researchers together in\u00a0Ioannina and Kozani<\/strong>\u00a0to explore how data-driven approaches can support cities on their path towards\u00a0climate neutrality by 2030<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Through interactive workshops, feedback sessions and thematic discussions, participants shared local needs, priorities and ideas for climate action. Discussions focused on\u00a0sustainable mobility, air quality, buildings and renovation, renewable energy and urban green and nature-based solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Participants also provided valuable feedback on the\u00a0METRONOME digital platform<\/strong>, a unified tool designed to bring together environmental data, stakeholders and community insights. The feedback will help further develop the platform and strengthen its ability to support cities in identifying targeted interventions and making evidence-based decisions.<\/p>\n

The workshops highlighted the importance of\u00a0co-design and collaboration<\/strong>\u00a0in developing climate solutions that reflect the specific needs and priorities of local communities.<\/p>\n
